walking through the mosses and the brush
everything around is setting soon
in a rush

stopping, staring faces come and go
no matter how they try, no one cares
no one knows

sitting simply, softly by his side
those who seek a smile, find a tear
and only cry

racing with the phases of the moon
only hope to find he's on the sun
all too soon

by his side a raindrop stops to fall
from its view, his problems seem minute
oh so small

leaves wilt up and drop down to his feet
mohogany tiles keep him still,
in his retreat

only death can reach me now
autumn hampers me down
lower than the ground
release your frame of sight
and sound
